Physical objects are best described visually. Whether it’s pen and paper or 3D computer models, visual studies help us understand, communicate, and problem solve quickly and efficiently. We have extensive experience with Revit, Rhino, and SketchUp as well as AutoCAD.

Alex Stack, PE, LEED AP BD+C
Principal

Alex received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Northwestern University and his master’s in structural engineering, mechanics and materials from the University of California, Berkeley. After several years working at award-winning firms in Berkeley, CA, he founded Stack Structural Engineering in 2015.

Alex is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer in California (81604), the District of Columbia (PE908426), Maryland (50192), Missouri (2017036663), and Virginia (402056947) and is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction (11029632-AP-BD+C).
